Men's Health at Angsana Medical

A clinic where men's health concerns are managed properly

Men's health encompasses far more than sexual health — it covers hormonal, metabolic, urological, and mental health concerns that are often under-discussed and under-treated. At Angsana Medical, these are managed with the same clinical thoroughness as any other medical condition, in a private, unhurried setting.

You will always see Dr Dhivian — a doctor trained to manage the full spectrum of men's health, from a first conversation to long-term follow-up.

We Hear This Every Week

If any of these sound familiar, you are in the right place.

I've been putting this off for months because I didn't know where to start.

Most men who come to see us waited longer than they needed to. These are medical conditions with medical treatments — raising them with a doctor is not a sign of weakness, it is the practical first step.

I'm not sure if what I'm experiencing is normal or something I should get checked.

That uncertainty is exactly why a proper assessment matters. Many men are surprised to find that what they dismissed as 'just getting older' is both treatable and worth treating.

I'm worried about what the tests might show.

Knowing is always better than not knowing. Most findings are treatable. And for conditions where early detection matters — like low testosterone or prostate issues — finding out sooner makes outcomes significantly better.

What Getting the Right Help Looks Like

A proper assessment. A real plan. No guesswork.

We assess what is actually happening — not just the presenting symptom. Men's health concerns are frequently connected to hormones, metabolism, sleep, and mental health, and treating them in isolation misses the full picture.

No judgment. No rush. You leave knowing what is happening and what to do next.

7 Men's Health Services at Angsana Medical, Singapore

Every consultation begins with a proper history and clinical assessment — not a prescription based on the first symptom you mention.

ED affects more than half of Singapore men over 30 to some degree. It is often a marker of underlying cardiovascular, hormonal, or psychological issues — which is why a proper assessment matters. We offer 5 treatment options including oral medications (PDE5 inhibitors), penile injections, focused shockwave therapy, psychotherapy, and testosterone replacement therapy where indicated.

PE is among the most common male sexual health concerns — and among the most treatable. We assess whether the cause is biological, psychological, or both, and provide a tailored management plan including oral medications (SSRIs, dapoxetine), topical treatments, and behavioural techniques.

Low testosterone is often missed — presenting as fatigue, low libido, mood changes, difficulty concentrating, and loss of muscle mass. We assess through symptoms, physical signs, and blood tests. Where testosterone deficiency is confirmed and there are no contraindications, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is discussed with a full risk-benefit explanation.

Frequent urination, weak urine stream, incomplete bladder emptying, and nocturia are common in men over 40 and are often related to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). We conduct a clinical review, perform relevant investigations, and manage medically or refer to urology where needed. PSA testing and prostate cancer screening are discussed as part of appropriate health screening.

  • BPH management · PSA testing · Nocturia · Urinary retention

Male pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) is progressive but highly treatable if addressed early. We assess the pattern and severity, and discuss medical treatments including topical minoxidil and oral finasteride. Other causes of hair loss — including thyroid, iron deficiency, and stress-related shedding — are assessed and managed appropriately.

Weight gain, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, and the hormonal changes that accompany them are common in men from their thirties onward. We assess metabolic health comprehensively and offer structured weight management — including GLP-1 receptor agonist therapy (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro) where appropriate, alongside dietary guidance from our registered dietitian.

Chronic fatigue in men is often multi-factorial — involving poor sleep, low testosterone, depression, burnout, sleep apnoea, or underlying medical conditions. We assess these systematically rather than offering reassurance without investigation. Sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnoea screening, and mental health concerns are managed in-clinic or with appropriate referral.
