Family Physician · Founder

Dr Dhivian

MBBS · MMed (Family Medicine) · Accredited Family Physician

Adjunct Tutor, CFPSMOH Licensed

Dr Dhivian founded Angsana Medical because he believed that the standard 10-minute GP visit was fundamentally broken. Not through any fault of the doctors within it, but by design — a system optimised for throughput rather than understanding.

Before founding the clinic, he trained broadly and deliberately: polyclinics, adult and paediatric emergency departments, hospital wards, and specialist departments. That breadth was intentional. Family medicine, done properly, requires a doctor who has seen enough to synthesise — to connect the dots across systems, across time, and across a patient's whole life.

He holds a Master of Medicine in Family Medicine from NUS — a postgraduate qualification held by a fraction of GPs in Singapore — and serves as an Adjunct Tutor at the College of Family Physicians Singapore, where he trains the next generation of family doctors in both the diploma and masters programmes.

"I want every patient to leave knowing exactly what is happening in their body, what the plan is, and why. With enough time to ask everything they came in with."

His clinical interests span mental health, men's health, lifestyle and longevity medicine, and complex chronic disease management. He is comfortable managing conditions that others refer out — not because he is dismissive of specialists, but because he believes most patients deserve a thorough assessment before they are sent anywhere.

Registered Counsellor

Lilian Ong

Registered Counsellor · Singapore Association for Counselling

Individual CounsellingCouples Counselling

Lilian is a Registered Counsellor with the Singapore Association for Counselling. She joined Angsana Medical because she shares the clinic's belief that mental health should be treated as part of healthcare — not separated from it, referred out, or made harder to access.

Having a counsellor in-house is not a token gesture. It means that when Dr Dhivian identifies that a patient would benefit from talking to someone — whether they are navigating grief, relationship stress, anxiety, or simply feeling overwhelmed — the next step is a warm introduction, not a referral letter to somewhere unfamiliar.

Lilian works with individuals and couples on a wide range of concerns: anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, life transitions, workplace stress, and more. Her approach is warm, non-judgmental, and grounded in the reality of her clients' lives.

"The hardest part for most people is walking through the door the first time. I want that first step to feel like a relief, not a risk."

Counselling sessions with Lilian are confidential, discreet and focused. They can be conducted in-person at Angsana Medical or through teleconsult. For complex conditions, the sessions may be held at Lilian's counselling room.

Clinical Dietitian

Anna

Clinical Dietitian · First-Class Honours, Nutrition & Dietetics

Anna brings extensive clinical experience across both public and private healthcare. She holds a First-Class Honours degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and trained at Singapore General Hospital, where she specialised in complex gastrointestinal conditions, eating disorders, and food allergies.

That clinical grounding matters. Nutrition advice is everywhere — and most of it is generic, conflicting, or disconnected from what a person actually needs. Anna's approach is the opposite: deeply personalised, clinically informed, and built around your life, not a template.

"Sustainable habits, not short-term goals. I want every patient to understand the why behind what they eat — and to feel confident, not restricted."

She has a particular strength in making nutrition practical. Not just what to eat, but how to make it stick — through realistic planning, habit-building, and an honest understanding of her patients' routines, preferences, and challenges. Whether you are managing a gut condition, working on weight, or simply trying to feel better, Anna is here to help you build a nutritional foundation that lasts.

For the convenience of patients, Anna's consultations are conducted via teleconsult — so you can access expert dietitian support from wherever you are, without needing to travel to the clinic.

How We Work Together

One team. One clinic. No gaps.

Most patients leave a GP with a prescription and a referral slip to somewhere they have never been. At Angsana Medical, your doctor, counsellor, and dietitian work in the same space — so when one of them feels you would benefit from the others, the introduction is warm, immediate, and part of the same care relationship.
